Esme Rebora is a Berlin-based experimental noise musician, composer, sound and visual artist, mainly operating the moniker Bride.
Steadily gaining momentum with their live performances since 2023, they’ve performed across Europe at various cultural institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Arts, silent green Kulturquartier and Norberg Festival, as well as a support slot in late 2024 for Nocturnal Emissions and Lussuria at New York’s TV Eye.
In 2024 they were selected to undertake the Swedish EMS Artist In Residence programme in Stockholm.
Their works construct allegorical tales within harsh and dissonant environments enchanting terror and warmth in chorus, focusing on controlled feedback and crushed compositions. They are interested by a harrowing exploration of the allure of the uncanny that continues to take shape both through their solo productions and collaborations. Rebora’s work has been highlighted by labels Psychic Liberation, Post Hoc, Industrial Coast and Longform Editions.
Starting their record label Alloy Choir in 2023 as a platform for arcane noise, industrial and dark ambient, they have released several artists from over the world with a full compilation in 2024.
